KIKU - Dance Film & The Six Women of KIKU - Documentary

An intergenerational short dance film bringing together six remarkable women over 50, who express their individual journeys of ageing through movement. This film invites the Canberra community to approach the topic of ageing with an open heart and mind.

The documentary 'The Six Women of Kiku' delves deeper into each of the dancer's journeys of ageing. This documentary does not represent a universal view of ageing as each person's experiences are different and very distinct. We only scrape the surfaces of this topic but we hope that it opens up more conversations to view and approach ageing in different ways.
